Dog Daycare Designed Around Your Dog
Work? Errands? A fun day out?
Let your dog have a great day, too.
At Dog Day Afternoon, daycare isn't one-size-fits-all. Every dog has their own personality, play style, comfort level, and social preferences. That's why we offer different daycare options designed to give each dog the kind of day they actually enjoy. Whether your dog loves romping with friends, prefers a carefully selected social circle, or would rather spend their day one-on-one with people, we'll help find the right fit.
Group Play - More than just a room full of dogs
Great daycare isn’t about putting as many dogs together as possible. It’s about creating safe, positive experiences with thoughtful supervision and people who understand dog behavior. Our playgroups are carefully organized based on size, temperament, play style, and individual needs. Our highly trained staff actively supervise play, monitor body language, and make adjustments throughout the day to help keep interactions safe, comfortable, and fun.
With intentionally managed groups and some of the lowest dog-to-staff ratios around, your dog’s health, behavior, and happiness are closely monitored. Our group play dogs are together from 7:50am-10:20am, and again from 1:10pm-2:40pm, with additional potty breaks throughout the day. Group play is for dogs who get along well with all other dogs and have polite play manners.
Personalized Play – Our Most Popular Daycare Option
Not every dog wants a huge group of friends—and they don’t have to! Dog sociability exists on a spectrum: some dogs love lots of dog friends, while many prefer a smaller circle of carefully selected friends. Sociability can also change with age, health, experiences, and environment. Personalized Play is our most popular daycare option and is designed for dogs who enjoy socializing but do best with selected friends. We match dogs based on personality, play style, comfort level, and individual needs, giving them meaningful social time without the pressure of a larger playgroup.
Private Care – One-on-One Care for Dogs Who Prefer People
Some dogs are happiest spending their day with people instead of other dogs! Private Care is a great option for senior dogs, shy or socially selective dogs, and dogs who simply prefer human companionship. These dogs enjoy one-on-one attention from our team, with playtime, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore.
Each dog’s day is tailored to their individual needs, so whether they want to play, sniff, cuddle, or take things at a slower pace, they can enjoy daycare in a way that feels comfortable for them.
