At Dog Day Afternoon, we believe in keeping our customers informed about how we perform our duties and activities. Given below are some of the frequently asked questions by new customers about our doggie day care, including dog boarding. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.
What Kind of training does the staff at Dog Day Staff receive?
Dog Day Afternoon has highly trained staff supervising and caring for all of our doggie guests. Our amazing staff doesn’t usually come to us with dog handling skills but our team is committed to constantly learning and improving. In addition to observation and hands on experience, our staff is trained and current in Pet Tech CPR and First Aid, and completes Knowing Dogs 101 and 201, a 16 module interactive staff training course designed to teach safe dog interaction and group play.
What does 24/7 staffing mean?
We have trained staff in our facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are here to care for the dogs no matter what time of day or night, regardless of our guests’ needs.
As you are staffed 24/7, can I pick up or drop off my pet at any time?
For the safety of the dogs in our care and our staff members, the Dog Day Afternoon office is open between 6am – 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am-10am and 5pm-7pm Saturdays and
Sundays. You may pick up or drop off your pet during these times. However, we may be able to accommodate after hours drop off and pick up for an additional charge. Please contact us for availability.
